Under the direction of Dr. Donald St. Jean, with performances by the RIC Chorus, RIC Chamber Singers, Tenor/Bass Chorus, and Dr. Judith Stillman. Featured work: To Bigotry, No Sanction - a cantata by Jonathan Comisar. Based on George Washington's letter of 1790 to the Hebrew Congregation in Newport, RI. In the letter, Washington offers assurances of the inalienable rights of American citizens regarding religious freedom.

This discussion will immediately follow the choral concert, also in Sapinsley Hall, where the RIC Chorus will present "To Bigotry, No Sanction," a cantata by composer Jonathan Comisar that is based on Washington's letter.
