Getting Involved

Latinx students

Student organizations, leadership programs, campus events, athletics, and recreation all provide our students with fun experiences that yield deep, long-lasting social bonds.

Wondering How You'll Fit In?

Not to worry! There are so many opportunities and ways to participate at RIC, and our students that get involved tell us they're so glad they did.

"Being involved has made my experience at RIC so much more than just classes and homework."

Student Organizations

From Disc Golf to Information Security, Pride Alliance to RIC Metalsmiths - we say that there is a club for everyone at RIC. And somehow, if you don't find what you're looking for, we're here to help you start a new club of your own.

Greek Life

If you're wondering whether you should participate in Greek Life, it's important to understand what you'll get out of it. Leadership, scholarship, service, and friendship for life are some of the many benefits of joining a Greek organization.

Student Community Government

Student Community Government (SCG) is the voice of RIC students - effecting change wherever and whenever the student body calls for it. SCG also recognizes and funds student organizations, allowing for engaging campus events year-round.

Campus Events

Racers

We want you to have as many opportunities to meet other students as possible. We offer events of all kinds throughout the academic year, with so many scheduled for the very beginning of the year - when forming new friendships is so vital. Welcome Weeks, outdoor movies, Horrorween, karaoke, inflatables, RIC Fest, and Homecoming Weekend are just some of the events we hold in the fall.

Leadership Programs

Our leadership programs start even before classes do, so you can develop new skills, build competencies, and enhance your resume - all while making new friends.

Athletics

Baseball

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and a charter member of the Little East Conference, RIC Athletics is growing in participation and popularity every year.
