Ensuring Your Safety Indoors and Out

We have 54 outdoor blue light emergency phones on campus - on or near the exterior of all residence halls and most college buildings, in our parking lots, and along campus walkways. These phones have a direct speed calling button with an automatic identifier so that the Campus Police Dispatch immediately know the emergency location. The nighttime view of our campus map displays the exact locations of all phones so that students can familiarize themselves with where they are. In addition to emergency phones, all residence halls are equipped with card swipe access at the building entrance and individual room pin code access.

We Even Have an E-Commerce Safety Zone!

Our Campus Police have designated a 24 hours a day, seven days a week area for members of our campus community to safely meet with individuals for online business transactions. Knowing that e-commerce has increased in popularity – we want to make sure to meet our students where they're at.
