In the letter, Washington offers assurances of the inalienable rights of American citizens regarding religious freedom. This discussion will immediately follow the choral concert, also in Sapinsley Hall, where the RIC Chorus will present "To Bigotry, No Sanction," a cantata by composer Jonathan Comisar that is based on Washington's letter.
