CLEP and AP Exams
Taking exams in various subjects, and achieving a required score, can give you Rhode Island College credits and help accelerate your progress to achieve your degree.
At Rhode Island College this is possible and it's referred to as prior learning assessment, or PLA. There are multiple methods (including test scores, trainings completed, life experiences, etc...) by which you can earn college credit for learning gained outside the traditional classroom.
