Competency-based education (CBE) assessments drive nursing curricula revisions nationwide to prepare our future nursing workforce. Using simulation allows students to practice applying new knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors of professional nursing practice. Becoming competent in these domains is essential. Dr. Kardong-Edgren will explore how to develop and implement CBE evaluations with us.

Dr. Kardong-Edgren’s lecture is a valuable learning opportunity. It is free and open to the public and all Rhode Island College faculty. We encourage everyone to join us for this insightful session, sponsored by the RIC Committee on College Lectures.
