In celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Portuguese Renaissance poet, Luís Vaz de Camões (1524-1580), join us for "Reflections on Translation: Theory and Practice" by literary translator and biographer Richard Zenith. Richard Zenith’s masterwork biography of the 20th century Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 2022. "Education by Stone: Selected Poems" by Brazil’s João Cabral de Melo Neto won the 2006 translation award from the Academy of American Poets.
