FAQs for Undergraduate, Graduate, and Commuter Plans

No. Commuter students who do not live on campus are not required to purchase a meal plan. However, many commuters do purchase the Commuter Plan for the convenience and value.

Yes, all students who reside on campus are required to purchase a meal plan.

However, graduate students have the option to choose this plan or one of the three meal plans available to undergraduate residents.

Our meal plans are comprised of Meal Swipes, BEESTRO Swipes and Dining Flex Points.

Meal Swipes are used to purchase meals from Donovan Dining Center.

BEESTRO Swipes can be used at The Beestro Café or at Donovan Dining Center. Meal plan holders get 2 meals per week to use at the Beestro.

Flex Dollars are like cash and can be uses for food and retail products in either Donovan or The Beestro and in campus vending machines.

A meal swipe has a cash equivalency value of up to $11.00 per transaction. Meals are traditionally a choice of an entrée, sides, house-made desserts and fountain and non-premium bottled beverages.

Meal plan holders can use one meal swipe per meal period, up to four meals per weekday and two meals on the weekends.

No Worries! Meals reset every Sunday at 11:59 pm.
