This Certificate of Graduate study is designed for RIC social work graduate students and is meant to be completed while working toward a RIC MSW degree.

With primary care systems rapidly adopting 'health-care home' team-based models, it's a clear indication that collaborative, team-based integrated physical and behavioral healthcare is becoming more prevalent in Rhode Island.
To meet this emerging need, this program prepares students to:
- appropriately and positively function as part of an interprofessional team
- understand social determinants of health
- develop competencies in engaging and supporting clients across a range of health conditions
Understand the Basic Program Structure
- 15 credits
- 300 hours of internship (each semester) in a primary care setting and functioning as a behavioral health clinician
