Admission Requirements for Feinstein School Undergraduate Programs

All undergraduate and second degree students who wish to complete a human development/community-based degree, an initial teacher certification degree, or our birth-5 years degree must be admitted to the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development (FSEHD). To be admitted to the school, applicants must meet program-specific requirements and FSEHD requirements.

Applicable Programs

These programs require admittance into the Feinstein School:

Please Note: The Youth Development program has its own application process for undergraduate admission.

When to Apply

The only application that you need to submit, as a prospective student, is RIC's Common Application. It is not until you are a current RIC student, working through your Foundation courses, that you'll apply to the Feinstein School.
