General Payment Information

  • The first tuition payment is due 1 month after the start of classes.
  • The exact tuition payment dates will be communicated at the beginning of each semester.
  • The tuition bill can be paid in 1 complete payment or paid in 3 parts, using a payment plan.

How to Pay

There are 3 ways for students to pay their bill:

Option 1: Paying In-Person

Option 1: Paying In-Person

Forms of payment accepted: cash, personal check, or money order.

You must personally visit the Bursar's Office (open Monday–Friday from 8:30 am–4:30 pm / Summer hours: 8 am–4 pm) in Building 4 on the RIC Campus. If you need help locating the Bursar's Office, watch How to Find the Bursar’s Office.

Please have your RIC student ID number with you.

Option 2: Paying by Mail

Forms of payment accepted: personal check or money order.

Forms of payment accepted online: your bank account numbers, credit card or debit card.

Credit Card or Debit Card

You need to log into MyRIC and enter your credit card number or debit card number. If you need help making a payment, watch How to Make an Online Tuition Payment.

Fees and Details for Credit and Debit Card Payments
  • There is a 2.75% fee for each credit card and debit card transaction. 
  • There is a 4.25% fee for payments made with a non-US credit card (international credit cards).
  • Credit cards must have the VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Discover logo.
