I am a first-generation student who has recently completed my BSW and am in the process of completing my MSW. My goal and interest is to serve the adolescents and young adults within the Latinx community. I would love to help them navigate the world as children of Hispanic parents in a society that was not originally built for them. I would love to provide a safe space for them to express concerns and especially provide assistance when first-generation students decide to pursue a higher education.
