Each organization is responsible to report to their inter/national organization, which offers support, advice and direction through paid professional staff and regional volunteers. Individual fraternities and sororities elect student officers to manage the day-to-day operations.

Starting a fraternity or sorority

If you would like to start a fraternity or sorority on campus, you must affiliate with a national organization. If you are interested, please contact the Office of Student Activities.

Alpha Sigma Tau is committed to developing scholars, philanthropists, leaders and sisters upon our collegiate and alumnae members. Philanthropy is a vital aspect of our lives and our sisterhood; it is our way of expressing concern for others. Our national philanthropy is the Women’s Wellness Initiative, as members of AST we empower women and girls through hands-on service, fundraising initiatives, and advocacy work. Our national service partners are Dress for Success and Girls Who Code. Our local philanthropy is the Autism Project.

Delta Phi Epsilon is an organization that is built on the bonds justice sisterhood, love and support for one another. The mission of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority in Latin is "Esse Quam Videri" which means to be rather than to seem to be. We value showing up and staying true to yourself. Our philanthropies are, the National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD), the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Delta Phi Epsilon Education Foundation.
