English Student Club

Do you enjoy talking about books, or films or cultural events with others? Does language interest you? Do you enjoy reading and writing, thinking and engaging the world head on? Then the English Club is a club for you.

What the Club Offers

The English Club is made up of English majors and minors, including secondary education or elementary education majors who are concentrating in English. We sponsor many events, such as sessions on graduate school, how to apply, what it costs and so on, along with writing workshops, film discussions, book discussions and talks and readings by professors and students. We also organize small writing workshops to offer feedback to creative writers and work closely with the college’s literary magazine Shoreline.
