- The Bureau of Labor Statistics is projecting nearly 150,000 job openings per year for the next 10 years in biology and life sciences.
- Our faculty provide hands-on learning experiences and numerous opportunities for lab research.
- Biology majors can also elect to get on the "fast track" and complete both a BA and an MA degree in biology in five years.
- Topics covered in the BS in biology curriculum include: genetics, ecology, molecular biology, statistical methods, organic chemistry and experimental design.
Rhode Island College is the best value in higher education. In-state students have the opportunity to attend two years tuition-free under the Hope Scholarship, while our Northeast Neighbors are offered a 40 percent discount.
