Transfer Minors from Earned Associates Degrees
Rhode Island College’s transfer minor policy is the first-in-the-nation to recognize your knowledge in a specialized area for which we do not currently offer a major or minor.
How it Works
Did you complete an associate degree at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) or Bristol Community College in one of these programs? If so, you are eligible for a transfer minor to be posted on your RIC transcript once you enroll at RIC - giving you credit for the skills you developed in your associate degree.
Associate's Degrees Accepted as Minors at RIC
You will be granted a minor at RIC for these associate degree programs from CCRI and Bristol Community College. (The required courses at CCRI and Bristol Community College to achieve these associates degrees are listed in parentheses.)
