Credits from Military Training
As a Military Friendly School, Rhode Island College is proud to offer credits for military training to our veteran and service member students.
How it Works
American Council on Education (ACE) credits documented in your Joint Services Transcript (JTS) and other related military trainings classified as upper level baccalaureate may be eligible for credit. We also award 4 credits for basic training. When you become enrolled at RIC as an undergraduate student, your credits will be posted by the Admissions Office as elective credits. Once you declare a major, you may request a review by the academic department chair for potential credit toward your major or minor program. Request your JTS transcripts today and send them to our Admissions Office.
