Graduate Assistant FSEHD Dean's Office
Full-time (20 hours per week)
Primary Purpose
This assistantship will benefit the FSEHD office in bringing new perspectives to the work we are doing aligned with our mission and vision. We are excited for the opportunity to engage a student in the different processes and culture of the FSEHD. While the individual assists our team with various projects, we will be seeking their input aimed at improving efficiency and transparency with systems to support students improve undergraduate and graduate student engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities
This person will provide supports to Feinstein School of Education and Human Development initiatives. Working closely with the Dean and Associate Dean, the Office of Partnerships and Placements (OPP), and the Director of Assessment, responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- Conducting literature reviews
- Analyzing school data
- Supporting FSEHD events and initiatives
- Navigating school and community placements
- Supporting undergraduate admissions.
Qualifications
The qualified individual must be:
- Organized and have exceptional time management skills.
- Have experience working on teams and strong interpersonal skills.
- Have experience working with data sets.
- Experience in educational or community settings is desired.
- Education, School Psychology, or Community Based majors preferred.

Students interested in learning about how systems work, networking, and insights into professional experience in higher education would greatly benefit from this opportunity. The student will engage in administrative tasks at the school level (e.g., enrollment and admission processes, faculty meetings, participate in faculty and student trainings, engage with school committees, analyze assessment data, etc.). Additionally, they will learn various processes and systems utilized by the FSEHD (Anthology, clinical/practicum placement systems, etc.), all while gaining practical leadership and administration skills.
