Reading MED
Help increase literacy in Rhode Island.
Develop the tools to diagnose and treat struggling readers.
Reading specialists are in demand in Rhode Island classrooms. This program prepares you to unlock the full potential of elementary education for students with reading difficulties. Graduates understand the science of reading and structured literacy, they recognize and gain proficiency in the use of high-quality instructional intervention materials, and they demonstrate skill in data-based decision making.
