Housed within the Department of Biology, this Bachelor of Science program prepares students for a variety of both medical and non-medical positions across the healthcare industry, including human services, medical laboratory sciences, dental hygiene and respiratory therapy.

Why Health Sciences? | Why Our Program?
- Our students gain a fundamental knowledge of health-related biology and chemistry, as well as the specific tools and skills required for their chosen field.
- We offer concentrations in human services and medical laboratory sciences, as well as completions in dental hygiene and respiratory therapy.
- Our students learn to make use of scientific research to acquire, analyze and document information.
- Topics covered in the BS in health sciences curriculum include: anatomy and physiology, microbiology, chemistry for healthcare, medical writing, genetics and statistical methods.
