Web Mail

Attention Students and Recent Graduates

RIC email policy - Student mailboxes are retained for one year after a student either graduates or leaves RIC.  All students who attended RIC since the Spring Semester of 2010, including recent graduates, now have mailboxes on the Live@RIC server.

In order to facilitate the transition to the new mail system, mailboxes for students who graduated during or since Spring 2010 will be maintained until January 15, 2012, at which time we anticipate being able to offer all alumni an alumni account.

Students - Live@RIC

All student email is delivered to Live@RIC mailboxes. To log into your Live@RIC mailbox, point your browser to http://www.ric.edu/goLiveAtRIC and log in with the same username and password that you previously used to access your legacy RIC email. It is not necessary to use the ric-acad\ prefix before your username when signing in.

The format of your username is:

  • your first initial, plus
  • your last name, plus
  • an underscore, plus
  • the last 4 digits of your student id

For example, the username for student, David Brown, with a student ID number of 0121234 would be dbrown_1234. Log into your mailbox with your current network password. If you cannot remember your network password, you may reset it at Outside Linkhttps://passwordstation.ric.edu.
