Incoming New Student

The Office of Residential Life and Housing is happy that you are interested in becoming part of our community. Once you have paid your $200 enrollment deposit through Admissions, you may access this link to secure a place on campus for the Fall 2014 semester.

You must first make a $220 housing deposit by clicking here (or copy and paste link into the address line: http://www.ric.edu/bursar/payment.php#ways) which will take you to instructions on how to use MyRIC to pay your tution & housing deposit.

Once the deposit has been confirmed (this may take a few days to a week), you may continue the application process by completing the Freshman Housing Questionnaire

Log-in the MyRIC system, under Student Links, Click Adironack (Student Housing) to complete Freshman Housing Questionnaire between May 1st, 2014 until mid-June.  Your deposit must be confirmed before this link will be available.

Please note:  Freshman students who complete their housing deposit process by May 16, 2014 will be guaranteed housing for fall.
All others will be housed based on availability at the time of deposit. Freshman students cannot complete the Freshman Housing Questionnaire until after May 1, 2014.

Incoming Transfer Student

The Office of Residential Life & Housing makes every effort to offer housing to those students who are interested in living on campus. However, because of limited housing space, we cannot guarantee housing for transfer students. We have a waitlist process that allows transfer students to place their name on our list. By returning your housing interest card to the Office of Admission, your name will then be added to our waitlist. As space becomes available through the year our staff will offer housing to those students on the waitlist in the order that the requests were made. Students on the waitlist do not make the housing deposit until a space is offered. At the time of acceptance, a student will have 24 hours to make the housing deposit. If not, the space will be offered to the next person on the list.

Current Resident

Current residents who want to live on campus for the Fall 2014 semester will need to pay the $220 deposit to their MyRIC account.  Deposits are due by Friday, March 7, 2014.  Additional instructions on how to pay the deposit can be found here or (copy and paste the following link into a browser: http://www.ric.edu/bursar/payment.php#ways).

Current residents who do not pay a housing deposit by March 7, 2014 can join the waitlist on May 1st 2014. Spaces will be assigned following based on the available spaces following the 2014-2015 room selection process.

Current Student Not Living on Campus

As a current student of Rhode Island College, you may request to live on campus.  We will open the waitlist for current students on May 1st 2014, after we complete the room selection assignments and know where we have available spaces.  At the end of the spring semester, we begin to combine the current student and incoming transfer waitlists and make assignments based on date of request.
