The main goal and purpose of the Campus Police Department, located on the Ground Level of Browne Hall, is to provide service and protection to The Rhode Island College campus, properties, staff, faculty, visitors, and students.
Working with Student Services, Residential Life, Physical Plant and others in our on-campus community, we are an integrated team striving to achieve excellence in police protection and to ensure a high quality of student-faculty life by promoting a tranquil, safe atmosphere conducive to the objectives of the College. The department is dedicated to the protection of the College properties to ensure the beauty, security, and safe function of the campus grounds and resources.
