Making Changes for Healthy Aging
April 19, 2017
Rhode Island’s Healthy Aging Data Report, released in 2016, investigated comparatively the status of health of older Rhode Islanders across its 39 towns and cities. The findings identified both the areas of need for behavioral modification by individuals that could enhance their own aging as well as the needs for communities to transform themselves to better accommodate their older citizens.
The conference will offer presentations on the implications of the report and the changes at the individual and societal levels that can promote healthy aging.
