Summer Institute on Teaching Writing
RIWP Summer Institue on Teaching Writing
July 7 – July 25, 2014
This three-week RIWP Institute is open to practicing teachers, K-16, in all content areas who are seeking a renewed sense of purpose as teachers of writing. The Summer Institute on Teaching Writing is at the core of the National Writing Project's teachers-teaching-teachers model of professional development.
The 2014 Institute will be facilitated by Ms. Aimee Marsland, a Co-Director of the RIWP, and Jason Ryan, a RIWP Fellow and Executive Board Member. We seek a group of thoughtful, committed educators, ready to share their expertise and experience with others. We invite you to join us this summer for a transformative experience with like-minded colleagues.
The tuition for this three-week, four-credit, professional development course is $725. For more information please contact Aimee Marsland at firstname.lastname@example.org.
