Jeffrey Siegel's Keyboard Conversations® will open the fifth season of his unique "concerts with commentary" with a Sunday afternoon Family Concert entitled "Music for the Young and the Young at Heart". The program will include The Flight of the Bumblebee, Bartok's Diary of a Fly, Copland's Cat and the Mouse and the minuet of the 5-year old Mozart. All are welcome from ages 7 to 107! |
Drummers of Burundi

After a highly successful premiere season, we are pleased to present
another outstanding artist in the Adams Foundation Piano Recital Series. British-born Ian Hobson is a musician of tremendous versatility who has earned an international reputation as a pianist, conductor and teacher. His program will include Mozart's Fantasy in C Minor, K. 475 and Sonata in C Minor, K457; Rachmaninov's Preludes, Op. 23, Nos. 1-10; Schumann's Carnaval, Op. 8. |

Bayanihan Philippine National Dance Company

The Muir String Quartet will return for their 14th year as the keystone of
our popular President's Music Series. Their first concert of the season will
include special guest Eric Ruske, french horn. The program will include Mozart's
Horn Quintet in E-flat Major as well as works by Kreisler and Mendelssohn. Consider joining the artists and fellow patrons at our President's Music Series Pre-Concert Buffet in the College Faculty Dining Center. Good food and great company complete an outstanding cultural evening. Reservations for the pre-concert buffets are required (401-456-8144). |

He is a juggler, but moves with the deftness of a French mime, and his work has an awesome effect of magic. Colleagues and critics have labeled him an "illusionist," a "movement artist," an "animator of objects" and a "dancerphysicist." You can decide for yourself. |

RIC Theatre Alumna Paula Ewin portrays the indomitable Katharine Hepburn in Matthew Lombardo's one-woman play TEA AT FIVE. Ewin depicts the strident, 31-year old star, still defiant even though she's been dubbed 'box office poison,' and later, the 76-year-old, aging actress reflecting on a life filled with loss. The play captures the emotional highs and lows of the inimitable, gravelly-voiced icon of American stage and screen. |
