The company is led by executive director Jean-Phillipe Malaty and artistic director Tom Mossbrucker, who is dedicated to presenting an eclectic repertoire while striving to attain a balance between creative freedom and uniformity.

Founder Bebe Schweppe established the Aspen Ballet Company in Aspen, Colo., in the 1990s. It was renamed Aspen Santa Fe Ballet a short time later, when performing opportunities became available in Santa Fe, N.M.

National and international audiences have embraced the company in venues such as New York’s Joyce Theater and Washington, D.C.’s Kennedy Center, as well as on stages in Italy, France and Greece.

Jennifer Dunning of The New York Times described the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet as a “twinge of wonderment that might charm the most cynical of New York dance fans...They raise the bar, and then they jump over it.”

Tickets for Aspen Santa Fe Ballet are $35. Discounts are available for seniors, children and RIC faculty/staff/students/alumni.
