Two “Babbitt’s Run” bus trips to New York City scheduled for spring

Two spring editions of “Babbitt’s Run” to New York City – Saturday, April 10, and Saturday, May 15 – will be leaving from RIC and Brown University.

The bus will board passengers at RIC in Parking Lot A (the first lot on the right approaching the campus via the Mt. Pleasant Avenue entrance) at 6:30 a.m. Parking in the RIC lot is free of charge and is continuously patrolled by campus security.

The bus will proceed to Brown University, where it will board passengers on College Street in front of the Brown gates and between the Rockefeller Library and the List Art Center. Free parking is available in the parking lot behind the Rockefeller Library, or along Prospect Street. The bus will depart from this stop promptly at 7 a.m.

The round trip price is $45. However, if an insufficient number of passengers necessitates a smaller bus, an additional $5 per person would be collected on the day of the trip.

Barring unexpected traffic delays, the bus will begin letting off passengers along 5th Avenue at approximately 10 a.m., proceeding all the way down to Battery Park, allowing passengers to disembark according to their particular requests.

No planned activity is scheduled during the day – everyone is on his/her own.

The bus will leave from in back of the Trump Tower on Madison Avenue at 8 p.m. sharp, arriving back in Providence by approximately 11 p.m.
