Frank Notarianni

Frank P. Notarianni Sr., of Cranston, a retired RIC assistant professor, died on Feb. 27. He was 66.

He began his 28-year career at the college in 1974, retiring in 2002 as government publications librarian and assistant professor in the library. Prior to RIC, he worked at the Providence Public Library as a reference/government publications librarian.

He received a master's degree in library science from the University of Rhode Island, and a bachelor's degree in history from Providence College. He also earned credits in instructional technology from RIC.

Notarianni is survived by his wife, Diane, three children, three grandchildren and three siblings.
