RIC Dance Company concerts Feb. 26-28

The RIC Dance Company's 51st annual Spring Concert Series will be held in Roberts Hall Auditorium from Feb. 26-28. Performances are at 8 p.m., Feb. 26 and 27, and at 2 p.m., Feb. 28.

The event will showcase an eclectic blend of styles featuring performances from international, national and local performers and choreographers. It will include dance works by body percussionist Keith Terry, modern dancer and choreographer Lisa Race, tap dancer Josh Hilberman, modern dancer Jane Comfort (who creates a theatrical piece titled "Romeo and Juliet"), contemporary ballet choreographer Colleen Cavanaugh and RIC adjunct faculty member and modern dance choreographer Katie McNamara of Bald Souls.

General admission is $15. Following the Sunday performance, RIC alumni will have the opportunity to attend a reception to meet current RIC dancers. Alumni can request two free tickets to the concert and reception by contacting Angelica Vessella at (401) 456-9791.
