Henry Barnard School – applications for enrollment

The Henry Barnard School is a culturally diverse elementary school that operates under the auspices of Rhode Island College. The preschool through fifth-grade school is located on the RIC campus. As the college’s laboratory school, it is involved in educating children and helping to prepare teachers.

Student vacancies are anticipated for the 2010-11 school year in preschool, kindergarten, third, fourth and fifth grades. Limited enrollment possibilities exist for the current school year.

To be included in the lottery for kindergarten, applications must be received by 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010. Students must be five years old by Aug. 23, 2010, to be enrolled in kindergarten. Applications for all other grades are considered in the order they are received.
