Annual Halloween Collage Concert is set to scare Oct. 30

Concert performers from 2005
It is almost time for the annual Rhode Island College Halloween Collage Concert, which will be held in Roberts Hall on Friday, Oct. 30, at 8 p.m. RIC student performers will be appearing in spooky costumes and entertaining audiences with pieces deemed appropriate for the holiday.

The show features various RIC music groups including the RIC chamber ensemble and groups, the RIC jazz ensemble and jazz combo groups, the RIC choir and various student vocal ensembles as well as RIC woodwind, brass and string quartets.

Denise Guilbault, RIC assistant professor of music education and the director of this year’s concert, indicated what’s being performed is still somewhat of a secret, because the groups like the performances to be a surprise. Guilbault did say, however, the performances are simply “to die for.”

General admission is $10, but in the spirit of the occasion, free for those in costume.
