Register Now for Summer Classes at RIC: Two Sessions Available
Registration for summer sessions at Rhode Island College is now underway for RIC students. Registration for non-RIC students begins Monday (March 4).
A number of learning experiences are available, including more than 50 courses online or with an online component, in addition to summer internships and field study programs, as well as a study-abroad opportunity.
Students may choose to take required courses in their major, such as lab science courses in biology, chemistry, physical science and physics; or take general education course requirements to accelerate completion of their degrees.
RIC also offers undergraduate and graduate certificate programs in a variety of professional areas, such as the new undergraduate certificate program in youth services for those who are employed in youth-centered programs in education, community services, youth advocacy and counseling, spiritual growth, guidance and leadership and sports and recreation.
“We continue to update and expand our summer course offerings to better serve the needs of our continuing and visiting students,” said Dante Del Guidice, RIC director of continuing education.
A complete listing of courses and detailed registration information is available at www.ric.edu/summersessions or call (401) 456-8212.
Summer Session I runs from May 20 to June 28. Summer Session II runs from July 1 to Aug. 9.
Financial aid is available for RIC students enrolled in eligible certificate and degree programs, and aid may be available for visiting students who qualify for consortium-agreement financial aid. Learn more at www.ric.edu/financialaid/fnforms.php.
