RIC soars in Washington Monthly rankings


This year, Rhode Island College gained 100 points in Washington Monthly’s just-released 2012 college rankings, to claim the second-best Rhode Island ranking among Master’s Universities.

In one of the major highlights of the college's improved standing, RIC posted a #32 ranking in social mobility, which combines the percentage of students receiving Pell Grants, net price and graduation rates.

RIC also jumped 134 places in the overall rankings, from #459 in 2011 to #325 this year.
