Rhode Island College’s Chamber Choir tours Ireland

RIC’s Chamber Choir traveled to Ireland for a concert tour from May 20-27. The choir performed at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Killarney; the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport (Mayo Choral Festival); St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin; and St. Mary’s Church in Julianstown, Meath.

Concert performances were led by Teresa Coffman, RIC professor and choral director, with accompaniment by Christina Breindel.

The Chamber Choir is comprised of members of the RIC Chamber Singers and RIC Concert Chorus. This is the second Ireland tour for the choir, which since 2002 has performed in many countries across Europe.
