RIC alumni graduate from R.I. Municipal Police Academy

Christopher Lo ‘08, a RIC Justice Studies graduate, and current Justice Studies major Nicholas Reay-Alton were sworn into the Warwick Police Department as probationary officers.
Andrew Girard ’10, a Justice Studies grad, was sworn into the Woonsocket Police Department as a probationary officer.

Maddie Pirri ’10, a Justice Studies graduate, and Ross Manzotti, a current Justice Studies student at the college, also graduated from the Municipal Police Academy.
Jim Clift ’92 – a Justice Studies and Sociology alumnus who has been a Providence Police Detective for 17 years – took the photographs at the graduation. Clift is an adjunct sociology professor at RIC, and recipient of the 2006 alumni honor roll award at the college.
This ceremony marked the 117th session of the Rhode Island Municipal Police Academy.
