Greg Abate to perform in Winter Jazz Concert, Dec. 12
The RIC Concert Jazz Band, conducted by Joseph Foley, will feature legendary saxophonist Greg Abate in the annual Winter Jazz Concert on Monday, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m. in the Nazarian Center’s Sapinsley Hall.

Joseph FoleyAbate, an adjunct professor of Jazz Studies at RIC is also a touring and recording artist, composer and jazz clinician.
Foley, an associate professor of music at RIC, is principal trumpet of the Rhode Island Philharmonic and frequent guest performer with the Boston Symphony and Boston Pops.
