"A-MIRROR-CA: A Reflection on America's Media Driven Society" will be on staged on Dec. 2 and 3 at 8 p.m. in the Nazarian Center’s Sapinsley Hall.

It will offer an evening of dance and theatre detailing the effects of the media on our lifestyles, body image and daily communication and explores the question: How much of what you believe is shaped by the media?

Eighteen students from both the Dance and Theatre areas will sing, dance and act in the production.

Originally conceived by Angelica Vessella, RIC director of dance, and Jimmy Calitri in 2007, the new show is a collaboration between Vessella and Bill Wilson, RIC musical theatre director.

"A-MIRROR-CA" is a Dance Area-sponsored event in collaboration with the Theatre Area at RIC.

General admission is $15, with discounts for students. For more information, call (401) 456-9791.
