2011-12 General Education Honors scholarship awards

The scholarships are awarded to outstanding rising juniors in the General Education Honors Program who have undertaken departmental honors projects in their senior years.

All four of the current awardees are on track to graduate summa cum laude and with College Honors. This year, each student received an award of $850.

Shauwna Grillo, the 2011-12 recipient of the John Nazarian Honors Scholarship, stands with Professor Spencer Hall, director of the College Honors Program.

The Nazarian Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding first-year student or students entering the General Education Honors Program.

Grillo graduated from Dartmouth High School in Dartmouth, Mass., and is majoring in theatre (design/technical). The Nazarian Scholarship for 2011-12 is $1,500.
