RIC 'Green Up, Clean Up' day includes free e-waste recycling, paper shredding, Sept. 17

Neighbors and friends of Rhode Island College can bring their old electronic devices to RIC for recycling, and unwanted documents for shredding, as part of the college’s second annual “Green Up, Clean Up” day on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 9-11 a.m. in parking lot A on the campus near the Mount Pleasant Avenue entrance.

Recycling trucks and services have been donated by Office Recycling Solutions and Shred-n-Go.

E-waste may include used computers, monitors, printers, cell phones and any digital equipment or components. Shredding for clean paper, files and home records is welcome. Quantity is limited to anything that can be carried in for recycling.
