College flag at half-staff for Raymond W. Houghton

College flags are at half-staff this week in memory of Raymond W. Houghton, professor emeritus of philosophy and foundations of education, who passed away on April 30. Raymond Houghton was one of the founders of the Upward Bound program at Rhode Island College and was recognized by the college with an honorary degree in 2006.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 20, from 6– 8 p.m. at Lime Rock Baptist Church, 1075 Great Rd, Lincoln. A memorial service will be held at the Lime Rock Baptist Church on Saturday, May 21, at noon. For further information and the online guest book, please follow this link.
