State’s first chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon approved at RIC
Rhode Island College's new chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the international computing honor society, has recently been approved and held its first induction ceremony on May 6 in Fogarty Life Science Building (050).
This is a joint effort of the Computer Science and the Computer Information Systems programs at RIC.
The inductees include alumni and undergraduates in recognition of their outstanding academic records, and faculty recognized for their contributions to the computing programs at RIC.
Inductees need at least a 3.0 GPA (both in the major and overall) and must be in the top 35 percent of their peer group. If you're an alum of one of the CS/CIS programs at RIC and think you qualify, contact email@example.com.
