RIC Faculty Member to Conduct RI Wind Ensemble at the St. Ann Arts and Cultural Center

Robert Franzblau, professor of music and director of bands at Rhode Island College, will conduct, "That’s Entertainment! Music from Broadway, Film and Television," as this year’s theme of the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble, a 45-member ensemble, when it performs at the St. Ann Arts and Cultural Center in Woonsocket, on May 1, at 2 p.m.

Some of the selections will include music from "The Phantom of the Opera," the themes from "Superman" and "Silverado," "Five By The Beatles" – a medley of songs by The Beatles, "The Washington Post March" by John Phillip Sousa and many more.
