Galumpha…The Human Jungle Gym swings into Roberts Hall Oct. 13

The Performing Arts Series at RIC presents Galumpha…The Human Jungle Gym on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium in Roberts Hall.

An exciting show for all ages, Galumpha combines amazing acrobatics, visual effects and physical comedy with award-winning choreography, to transform three bodies into a seamless mix of entertaining art.

The group’s fast-paced, athletic movement has been described by The New York Times as “superb, even spellbinding physical control.”

Formed in 2002 by performers Andy Horowitz and Greg O’Brien, Galumpha’s Providence show will feature Horowitz, Marlon Torres and Kate Parlato.

Galumpha has performed throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

According to The San Francisco Chronicle, “their strength, agility, and underlying grace…is unflagging and amazing,”

Tickets for Galumpha…The Human Jungle Gym are $35, with discounts for seniors, RIC faculty/staff/students/alumni, and children.
