MUS 310: Medieval and Renaissance Music

Music literature from its ancient beginnings through the Middle Ages and the Renaissance is studied. Included are plainchant, polyphony, sacred and secular music, and problems in early notation.

  • MUS 205
  • MUS 206
  • either MUS 203 or 230, or consent of instructor
