Sheffra Spiridopoulos
Background
Sheffra Spiridopoulos is an active performer and teacher throughout New England. In 2002 she joined the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with the Portland Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Opera Boston, Boston Lyric Opera, Pro Arte Orchestra of Boston, Opera North, Lake George Opera, and several others. Sheffra has also appered with Dinosaur Annex Music Ensemble, Boston Cecilia Ensemble, the South Coast Chamber Music Society, and New England Brass. Beyond New England she has appeared with the Kansas City Symphony, Key West Symphony and the Nashville Symphony. A graduate of Vanderbilt University and Michigan State University, she also studied at the New England Conservatory of Music and Boston University. Sheffra has previously held teaching positions at Eastern Nazarene College and the New England Conservatory Preparatory Division.
