(8:00am-2:20pm) First day of school for all learners. Parent visitation is highly recommended on this day, especially in lower grades. (Today and tomorrow are half-days for PRESCHOOL and KINDERGARTEN, full days for grades 1-5.)

College opening faculty exercises/departmental retreat. No school either day.

August 30 |
School in session. For grades K-5, full day; PRESCHOOL ONLY, half day.

September 2 |
Labor Day holiday. No school. |
September 3 |
College classes begin today. Traffic and parking will be challenging. Please be prepared!

September 12 |
Curriculum night for preschool and grades 1-5, including art, music, Spanish, tech ed, PE, and library. Open House for Kindergarten. |
October 14 |
Columbus Day holiday. No school. |
October 18 |

Kindergarten lottery. Those who will be invited for screening will be notified by e-mail no later than 20 December, 2013.

* The schedule this year is built so that the equivalent of two inclement weather days are included in the year. School will release no earlier than 17 June. However, inclement weather closures beyond the second will need to be made up by adding days after 17 June, 2014.
