In 2011, Deb Medeiros became the Program Coordinator for the Adoption & Foster Care Educational Collaborative. Deb has nearly two decades of non-profit management experience. Most recently, she served as the Director of Programs for The National Center on Family Homelessness, providing strategic oversight, management and supervision to the program division's portfolio of public and private sector-funded programs. In this capacity, she also managed the grantmaking, technical assistance and overall administration for "Strengthening At Risk and Homeless Young Mothers and Children," – an $11.2 million, multi-year, multi-site national initiative. A key component of this initiative was ensuring that children and their young mothers had the supports needed to achieve their full potential. In 2011, Deb returned to school to pursue her MSW (clinical) at RIC, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2013.
