The Annual Faculty Exhibition offers an opportunity for the community to see firsthand the inspiring talent that is in residence at Rhode Island College.

An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 5-8 pm.

The artists on the faculty are very much a part of the current aesthetic and formal dialogue in their various approaches to art making, including research-based and interdisciplinary methods that are at the core of best practice models. RIC’s faculty exhibit widely and are recipients of many prestigious awards, grants, and residencies. As a result, students are encouraged by their example to think across boundaries. Th ese distinguished and award-winning artists collectively bring a unique vision to the region’s cultural tapestry.

Represented are the works of 3D faculty and adjuncts. Gallery walk-throughs with the exhibiting artists are included during the reception.
