This exploration of the mural tradition in African American art includes didactic material as well as drawings and other documentation. A traveling exhibition, it was most recently shown at the Anacostia Museum in Washington, D.C.

The show is presented in collaboration with the International Gallery of Heritage and Culture, the Bannister Society, and the Rhode Island College School of Social Work and Unity Center. The guest curator is Robin Dunitz, coauthor of Walls of Heritage, Walls of Pride: African American Murals.

Opening: April 6, lecture by Robin Dunitz at 6:00 p.m. Reception follows.
